Is email marketing dead?

You might have 10s, 100s, 1,000s of unread emails sitting in your inbox right now.

They're probably from companies you bought from long ago,

Or creators and mentors you wanted to learn from and keep up with.

But the amount of emails they send is overwhelming.

They're promotional and spammy.

They provide no value to you other than a discount here and there.

It's because of those unopened emails that you're probably thinking-

"Email marketing is dead. No one wants spammed with a ton of emails"

While I completely understand that logic,

It couldn't be further from the truth.

Think about the newsletters you DO open and DO read.

What do those newsletters have in common?

And how could you be incorporating more of that into YOUR emails?

Email marketing isn't dead, but the way in which you present your content?

That could likely be dying.

I don’t really know when it started- the addiction to social media. Was it when Instagram introduced the unlimited feed? Was it when TikTok bombarded us with short-form video? Was it when the algorithm started sending me dog videos? I can’t pinpoint exactly when it started, but maybe that’s the point. It’s been a slow burn this entire time. Introducing small, subtle changes so we adjust… and then crave it even more. Even as I’m writing this, I can’t help but notice the urge I feel to check my...
